IT Support Specialist (Start Oct 11)

This opportunity is a six-month position from November 1 (October 11 this year) to April 30 every ski season.  Schedule is Friday through Tuesday when resort is open to guests.  This position will work closely with end-users and the IS Manager to install, configure and maintain all data and voice systems.  Year-round benefits available for this salaried position.

Requirements include a minimum of three years experience in an IT support position; experience with Windows based servers and clients; experience with core network hardware; proficiency troubleshooting equipment; extra credit for experience with Siriusware!  Bachelor's degree in computer science or MIS is preferred, high school or GED diploma required.  Must also have exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail.

Snowmakers (Start Oct 14)
Our snowmakers are the first step to a great season at Eldora Mountain Resort! As a member of the snowmaking team, you will tend to snowmaking equipment to produce man made snow on our ski trails. This includes operation of snow guns, keeping equipment clear of snow (shoveling), and moving equipment from trail to trail. After orientation is completed, schedule rotates 4 days on, 3 days off, then 3 days on, 4 days off. Shifts are 12 hours (day or night). Must be able to work outside in physically demanding winter conditions. Must also have ability to safely lift, drag, and/or pull over 75lbs on a regular basis. Starting rate is $9.50/hour.
