Year Round Jobs

We are looking for our next Mountain Operations Director, Lift Electrician, and Vehicle Mechanic!  We are also taking applications now for the Snowsports Director opportunity which starts September 2014.

Mountain Operations Director

Join a ski resort on the cusp of a major expansion!  We will be building eight lifts over the next 6-8 years and doubling in skier visits.  We're looking for a Mountain Operations Director to start in May 2014.  The position is responsible for the leadership and management of Snowmaking, Slopes, Ski Patrol, Terrain Park, Lift Operations, Race and Base Operations.  Requirements include 10-15 years of mountain operations experience, a hands-on leadership style and a commitment to employee safety and exceptional guest service.  A Bachelor's degree is preferred.  Position is year-round.

Lift Electrician

We are looking for an electrician who is a team player with a positive attitude. Our ideal candidate will be proficient with commercial wiring practices and code, skilled in running conduit, and has knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and basic motor contactor circuits. In addition, a knowledge of controls and strong mechanical skills are preferred. Journeyman license is strongly preferred but we're willing to assist in the attainment of license for the right candidate. Must be able to work weekends and holidays with four, 10-hour shifts during the ski season; Monday through Friday schedule during the off-season (five, 8-hour shifts).  This is a year-round position.

Must be able to provide journeyman license number (if applicable) and have basic hand tools and meters for the trade.

Vehicle Mechanic

We are looking for a vehicle mechanic to join our team and be part of an exciting growing resort.  Requirements include a minimum of 5 years experience working with snowcats, snowmobiles, trucks, gas and diesel engines.  Experience with compressors and pumps is also helpful.  Position is 10-month but is eligible for year-round benefits.

Snowsports Director

We're looking for a Snowsports Director to lead our team of 300 instructors.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of six years ski school instructing experience, along with a minimum of two years of ski school operations management experience.  Must be able to manage class ratios and people well.  Level 3 certification and/or Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.  Position is half-time in September and October and full-time November through mid-April.
