  • CONTROLLER

Eldora Mountain Resort is seeking a full service controller to join their team in Nederland, Colorado.  Reporting directly to the Owner/General Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing all General Accounting and Finance functions including Payroll, Credit, A/R and A/P for a privately owned resort operating company with highly fluctuating seasonal business.  Within resort operations, the controller coordinates the financial and accounting activities for a wide variety of lines of business.  This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including: general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation (both Fiscal and Tax years), and support of budgeting / forecasting activities.

Accounting or Finance Degree required.  Master's degree and/or CPA preferred; four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, Accounting software and Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics Payroll systems necessary.

  • Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant is responsible for: providing support services to the General Manager and other directors for Eldora Mountain Resort, maintaining the executive office, screening calls, keeping company and executive calendars, coordinating meetings, making travel bookings, preparing and distributing documents, spreadsheets and correspondence and providing internal and external guest service.

This position is a year round position with a full benefits package which will be described more in detail during the interview process.  Salary is dependent on experience.

  • Sales/Marketing Coordinator (promotions, sales & events)

Entry level role: Pre-season primary focus is to promote and sell core programming including season passes, short visit passes, and the full range of package and ancillary services, by coordinating trade show sales activity at offsite promotional events, Front Range temporary stores and scheduling all things events throughout the season. During the winter season, promote sales via social, CRM, snow reports, events, competitions and group activity.  When applicable assist with various marketing activity, guest services, rentals, groups and other sales zones.  Support fulfillment of sales activity with ticketing, invoicing and internal communications. Helping out marketing efforts where required may change at any time during period of employment.
