  • CONTROLLER

Eldora Mountain Resort is seeking a full service controller to join their team in Nederland, Colorado.  Reporting directly to the Owner/General Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing all General Accounting and Finance functions including Payroll, Credit, A/R and A/P for a privately owned resort operating company with highly fluctuating seasonal business.  Within resort operations, the controller coordinates the financial and accounting activities for a wide variety of lines of business.  This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including: general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation (both Fiscal and Tax years), and support of budgeting / forecasting activities.

Accounting or Finance Degree required.  Master's degree and/or CPA preferred; four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, Accounting software and Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics Payroll systems necessary.

  • ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR

Eldora Mountain Resort is looking for the right candidate to fill the position of Electrical Supervisor. 

As electrical supervisor, your primary responsibility will be the continued maintenance of all electrical systems of the ski lifts. You will be joining a team of enthusiastic and highly skilled lift mechanics to ensure the lifts are in the highest level of working order.  Reporting directly to the Lift Maintenance Manager, you will oversee 1 or more electrician(s) in the electrical maintenance of the resort buildings as well as the lifts.   Occasionally you will also be called upon to assist the lift mechanics in various projects as necessary, creating fun variety in your job description.

The nature of this position requires you to be well-rounded as an electrician. Desired disciplines include low voltage controls, motors up to 400hp, and commercial wiring.  Strong troubleshooting skills are paramount for this position. PLC experience and distribution up to 25KV are a plus.  Journeyman license required, Master license a plus.

Job requirements include: Working outdoors in all weather conditions, Working at heights of 70’ or more, Lifting heavy objects, Working on energized equipment up to 480V AC/DC, Working weekends and holidays during ski season, Operating snowmobiles and other vehicles (Valid drivers license required), Time management and ability to juggle multiple tasks on the fly, Working knowledge of the National Electric Code and above all, you must be a strong team player.
