  • IT Systems Support Specialist

Estimated Start Date:           Mid-October

Tentative Work Duration:     Thru Mid-April

Love to ski or snowboard? Eldora Mountain Resort is looking for a person to provide technical support throughout the resort so our employees can provide our guests with an exceptional day at the Mountain.  Schedule is usually Friday through Tuesday, with some Race and Holiday coverage when the resort is open to guests.

This position will work closely with end-users and the IT Manager to install, configure and maintain all data and voice systems. We're looking for someone who has experience with Windows based servers and clients (SQL, sales database, e-commerce, merchant and file servers, points of sales, windows XP, Vista and 7); experience with core network hardware including firewalls, routers, and switches; proficiency troubleshooting printers, scanners, POS systems, cameras and time clocks; extra credit for experience with Siriusware and/or PBX/IP phone systems (Mitell).

Required skillset include high school or GED diploma (Bachelor's degree in computer science or MIS is preferred); minimum two years experience in support position; exceptional customer service skills; successful track record communicating with unskilled and skilled end-users; attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.

  • Ski Patrol Assistant Director

Tentative Work Duration:     Thru Mid-April

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Ski Patroller to become part of our Ski Patrol management team and help move us into the future. The Assistant Director works directly with ski area management and the Ski Patrol Director to coordinate, manage and assist in all Ski Parol operations including first aid, lift evacuation, avalanche control, accident investigation, budgeting, scheduling, and other Mountain Operations. The successful candiate has a srong background in Ski Patrol and Snow Safety, administrative and supervisory skills, and has a proven record of decision making and leadership. Eldora has a small core of 25 professional patrollers and approximately 50 National Ski Patrol and Paramedic Volunteers.

  • Lift and Facilities Electrician

Estimated Start Date:         Immediate

Tentative Work Duration:  Year Round

We are looking for an electrician who is a team player with a positive attitude. Our ideal candidate will be proficient with commercial wiring practices and code, skilled in running conduit, and has knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and basic motor contactor circuits. In addition, a knowledge of controls and strong mechanical skills are preferred. Journeyman license is strongly preferred but we're willing to assist in the attainment of license for the right candidate. Must be able to work weekends and holidays with four, 10-hour shifts during the ski season; Monday through Friday schedule during the off-season (five, 8-hour shifts).  This is a year-round position.

Must be able to provide journeyman license number (if applicable) and have basic hand tools and meters for the trade. 

  • Snowsports School Business Administration Manager

Estimated Start Date:          ASAP 2014

Tentative Work Duration:     Mid-May

Primary management responsibilities are overall administration of the school as it relates to programming consulting, sales, guest CRM, private lesson scheduling, employee activation/scheduling/payroll/separation, and financial performance, for the snowsports school division. Specific business development focus will be to support instructor retention, grow the LTS/LTR, Privates, youth/adult programs and overall guest volume retention of the school.  Other duties for Snowsports include guest programing development, employee recruitment, employee recognition, indoor/outdoor facility use, process flows, daily office operations, and general ownership of risk & safety within the school yard environment. Duties associated to managing the school change regularly throughout the season and you may be required to work a number of other duties, including assisting other departments.
