A learning opportunity.

Enrolling your kids in our acclaimed Children's Center ski or snowboard lessons is a great way to get them learning proper technique, building confidence and having fun. All children are grouped by age and ability to make sure they'll be comfortable in their group and matched to one of our exceptional instructors.

The full-day Mountain Explorers program ensures maximum teaching benefit. Half-day Mountain Explorers is for first-timers only.

Ski lessons are available for ages 4-12, snowboard lessons are available for ages 7-12.

Space is limited in Mountain Explorers.

Reservations are recommended and essential for weekend and holiday periods. Please plan to reserve at least 48 hours in advance.

Children's First-Timer Lessons (ages 4-12)

Mountain Explorer Ski $99

• Ages 4-12
• All Ability Levels
• A full day that includes a 4 hour group lesson, rental equipment, lift ticket, supervised lunch and snacks.
• Lesson starts at 9:45am and ends at 3:15pm.

Mountain Explorer Snowboard $99

• Ages 7-12
• All Ability Levels
• A full day that includes a 4 hour group lesson, rental equipment, lift ticket, supervised lunch and snacks.
• Lesson starts at 9:45am and ends at 3:15pm.

Half Day Mountain Explorer Ski $89

• Ages 4-12
• First-Timers ONLY
• A half day that includes a 2 hour group lesson, rental equipment, and a Little Hawk Mountain lift ticket.
• Lesson starts at 12:45pm and ends at 3:15pm.

Half Day Mountain Explorer Snowboard $89

• Ages 7-12
• First-Timers ONLY
• A half day that includes a 2 hour group lesson, rental equipment, and a Little Hawk Mountain lift ticket.
• Lesson starts at 12:45pm and ends at 3:15pm.

6-Pack Mountain Explorer $469

• Ages 4-12 (Ski)
• Ages 7-12 (Snowboard)
• All Ability Levels
• 6 full day Mountain Explorer lessons (ski or snowboard).
• A Fully transferable card that can be used individually, or for more than one child.
• Good for the 2009-2010 season only. (Note: Further price reduction for having own equipment or season pass is not available with this product).

Please Note: Children's lessons may be reduced by $5 for Eldora Season Pass holders and by $5 for having your own equipment. (Maximum $10 off. This discount is not available with the purchase of the 6-Pack Mountain Explorer offer, the No Limits Season Pass or the 5th or 6th Grade Passport).

Children's Lessons meet in the Children's Center — upstairs in the Indian Peaks Lodge.
